DiveLogix

DiveLogix is a mobile + web app for marine researchers to capture field observations fast and convert them into analysis-ready records. It focuses on the unglamorous reality of marine work: wet hands, bad signal, inconsistent protocols, and data that dies in notebooks. Users create project templates (species lists, transect methods, sensor metadata), then log dives/surveys offline with GPS, timestamps, voice notes, and photo/video. After sync, the app auto-extracts key fields from media (species candidates, counts, substrate, gear settings) and flags uncertainty for human review. Exports are frictionless: Darwin Core, OBIS-ready CSV, and standardized metadata packages for labs and repositories. It’s not a “discover the ocean” toy; it’s a workflow tool that reduces data loss, improves consistency across teams, and shortens the time from fieldwork to publishable datasets.
