DocDelta

DocDelta is a web app (with optional desktop agent) for enterprise content teams who constantly revise policies, SOPs, contracts, and technical docs across SharePoint, Google Drive, and file shares. It automatically captures document versions, produces human-readable change summaries, and forces structured “reason for change” metadata before publishing. Instead of dumping everything into another repository, it overlays on top of existing storage and creates an auditable change ledger: what changed, who reviewed, what controls it impacts, and when it became effective. It also generates release notes for internal comms and can flag risky edits (e.g., removed compliance clauses) for mandatory review. This is a combination traditional + AI app: traditional workflows and permissions, AI for diff summarization, clause detection, and smart routing. Realistically, winning requires tight integrations, strong security posture, and a narrow initial focus (e.g., regulated policy/SOP updates) rather than trying to replace full ECM suites.
