Dock2Dish is a mobile + web app (traditional app with light AI) that helps restaurants and small retailers quickly vet seafood suppliers for sustainability and legal compliance—without pretending it can “prove” everything. Users build a supplier profile by uploading invoices, harvest tags, landing receipts, and certification docs (MSC/ASC/BAP where applicable). The app normalizes species names, flags high-risk items (e.g., vague “snapper,” “grouper,” “whitefish”), checks basic plausibility (season/region vs species), and maintains an audit-ready trail for buyers and managers. A simple risk score and checklist tells you what’s missing and what to ask for next. It also supports “approved list” purchasing: staff can only order from verified suppliers/items, reducing accidental greenwashing on menus. This is not a consumer scanner; it’s a pragmatic ops tool for businesses that need defensible documentation.
