DocketBeacon
DocketBeacon is a web app (with optional mobile companion) that turns messy, fragmented court docket information into a clean, searchable public timeline. It continuously pulls docket entries from supported courts, normalizes party names, case types, and events, and flags missing or delayed postings. An AI layer summarizes each docket update in plain English and highlights what changed since the last entry, with links back to the source document. Users can follow cases, courts, or judges and get alerts when new filings land. The product is realistic about access: many courts have paywalls, inconsistent formats, or anti-scraping rules, so the MVP focuses on jurisdictions with open data or permitted access and adds “coverage transparency” showing exactly what’s included and what isn’t. The goal is not to replace PACER or court sites; it’s to make public court activity understandable and auditable.
