DocketDigest
DocketDigest is a web app (with optional desktop add-in) that turns messy case research into a judge-friendly, auditable brief. It ingests PDFs, filings, and prior opinions from a case’s docket, then builds a structured “issue map” (questions presented, governing standards, controlling precedents, and conflicting lines of authority). It is an AI + traditional app: AI proposes summaries and relevance rankings, while the product enforces strict citation traceability—every sentence must link back to a pinpoint cite in the source document. Judges and clerks can compare parties’ cited authorities side-by-side, flag misquotes, and generate a bench memo outline that matches the court’s template. Realistically, this won’t replace Westlaw/Lexis; it sits on top of what courts already have and focuses on organizing, verifying, and drafting from the record with less manual juggling.
