DocketNudge

DocketNudge is a mobile + web app that helps self-represented people and legal-aid clinics track court deadlines, required forms, and hearing logistics in one place. Users answer a short intake (case type, court, dates they already have), then the app generates a plain-language checklist and calendar reminders for common steps (service, responses, evidence, fee waivers). It also stores documents, photos, and notes, and produces a “court day pack” with what to bring and what to say at check-in. This is a combination traditional + AI app: AI is used to translate court notices into simple tasks and to draft non-legal “cover letters” and filing instructions, with strong disclaimers and human review prompts. It does not replace a lawyer; it reduces procedural failure, which is where many cases collapse for low-income users.
