DockPing

DockPing is a mobile + web app for truck drivers and small fleets that reduces detention and wasted hours at shipper/receiver docks. Drivers tap “Arrived,” “In door,” and “Released,” while geofencing and optional photo proof (BOL, dock door sign) validate events. The app builds a live “dock wait-time map” by facility and time-of-day, then predicts realistic appointment ETAs and suggests earlier/later arrival windows. Dispatchers get a simple dashboard to see which loads are at risk of detention, generate detention documentation automatically, and message facilities with standardized arrival/departure timestamps. This is a combination traditional + AI app: traditional tracking and workflows plus AI to forecast dock delays and flag likely disputes. It’s intentionally narrow: detention prevention and evidence, not a full TMS.
