DockPulse

DockPulse is a web app (with optional mobile check-in) that turns warehouse dock activity into actionable analytics. It ingests appointment schedules, WMS/ERP shipment events, and carrier arrival/departure timestamps to quantify dwell time, detention risk, and dock-to-stock cycle time by lane, carrier, SKU family, and shift. The MVP focuses on one painful area: identifying why loads miss their pickup windows and which operational levers fix it (labor allocation, appointment spacing, priority rules). It provides a daily “at-risk” board for today’s appointments, a weekly performance scorecard, and simple what-if simulations (e.g., add one forklift operator from 2–6pm, change appointment slot length). This is not a full TMS/WMS replacement; it’s a thin analytics layer that plugs into what companies already use and surfaces the few metrics that actually drive OTIF and detention costs.
