DockPulse is a web + mobile app for small-to-mid warehouses and 3PLs that turns inbound/outbound dock scheduling into a simple, enforceable workflow. Carriers and drivers book time slots via a link, upload BOLs, and receive gate instructions automatically. On-site staff get a live dock board, check-in/out timers, and exception flags (late arrival, no-show, missing paperwork). The app calculates dwell time and detention exposure in real time, producing clean, timestamped evidence for chargebacks or disputes. It also sends proactive SMS/WhatsApp nudges to reduce no-shows and smooth labor planning. This is not a “full WMS”—it’s a lightweight layer that plugs into existing processes and focuses on one expensive problem: dock inefficiency. Expect some operational resistance; success requires management buy-in to enforce appointments and scanning/check-in discipline.
