DockPulse

DockPulse is a web app (with a lightweight mobile companion) that fixes one of logistics’ most expensive, under-managed problems: dock appointment scheduling and yard flow. It gives shippers, warehouses, and 3PLs a single place to book, confirm, and enforce dock times, with rules that prevent overbooking and “ghost” arrivals. Carriers get a simple link-based check-in, live wait-time visibility, and automatic rescheduling when delays happen. The system tracks dwell time, detention risk, and throughput by door, shift, and carrier—without requiring a full WMS/TMS replacement. It integrates via email parsing and EDI/API where available, but can start with manual entry for smaller sites. This is not glamorous software, but it directly targets detention fees, labor overtime, and daily firefighting—areas where operators will pay if it reliably reduces chaos.
