DockPulse

DockPulse is a web + mobile app for warehouses and manufacturers to schedule inbound/outbound dock appointments, reduce detention fees, and keep carriers from showing up in chaotic waves. It replaces spreadsheets, phone calls, and email threads with a simple carrier self-serve portal, rule-based slotting (by load type, pallet count, equipment, and labor capacity), and real-time dock status. Yard and dock staff check trucks in via QR code, assign doors, and log exceptions (late arrival, missing paperwork, rejected pallets) in seconds. The system produces clean metrics: on-time performance by carrier, average turn time, and the cost of delays. It’s not trying to be a full WMS/TMS; it’s a focused “dock control tower” that can integrate with existing systems through lightweight APIs and CSV imports.
