DockPulse is a web app (with a lightweight mobile companion) that gives shippers and 3PLs real-time visibility into warehouse dock appointments, check-in/out times, and detention risk. It connects to common WMS/TMS systems or ingests EDI/email appointment confirmations, then tracks each load against facility rules (free time, cutoffs, carrier SLAs). The app flags loads likely to incur detention/demurrage, prompts staff with specific actions (reschedule, pre-stage, swap door, notify carrier), and generates a clean audit trail to dispute charges. It also produces a weekly “facility scorecard” showing where dwell time is coming from (labor gaps, appointment batching, late paperwork, yard congestion). This is not a magical optimization engine; it’s a practical visibility + workflow layer that reduces avoidable fees and finger-pointing with minimal process change.
