DockRoute is a mobile + web map app for delivery drivers and dispatchers that routes to the correct loading dock entrance, not just the street address. It combines truck-restricted routing (height/weight/hazmat), dock-specific POI data (gate codes, entry side, hours, turning radius notes), and proof-of-arrival at the right dock. The core value is reducing wasted time circling facilities, missed appointment windows, and unsafe last-minute maneuvers. Users can submit dock details with photos and quick prompts; the system flags conflicting reports and decays stale data. Dispatch can share a “dock pin” link that opens directly in the driver app with constraints prefilled. This is not a general-purpose maps replacement; it’s a specialized navigation layer for the last 500 meters where most commercial stops go wrong.
