DockSlot

DockSlot is a mobile + web app that helps renters, building staff, and movers coordinate the most failure-prone parts of moving day: freight elevator time, loading dock access, curbside permits, and arrival windows. Renters pick a move date, enter building rules, and request a slot; the building approves/adjusts with one tap and the mover gets a confirmed schedule plus access instructions. The app sends automatic reminders, gate codes (time-limited), COI/insurance collection, and a live “on-the-way” status so staff know when to expect the truck. It also generates a simple move-day checklist and a printable door notice for neighbors. This is not a full moving marketplace; it’s the scheduling and compliance layer that reduces delays, fines, and angry building managers. Monetization: per-building subscription plus per-move fees for non-subscribed buildings.
