DockSlot

DockSlot is a mobile + web scheduling app for shippers, warehouses, and carriers to reserve loading/unloading dock appointments with real-time status updates. It replaces the messy reality of phone calls, emailed PDFs, and “first come, first served” chaos that creates detention, missed delivery windows, and angry drivers. Facilities publish dock availability, rules (trailer type, pallet exchange, paperwork), and check-in requirements. Carriers request or book slots, then drivers get a simple check-in flow and live queue position. The system timestamps arrivals, start/stop loading, and exceptions (no PO, wrong trailer, product not ready) so disputes are resolved with data, not arguments. This is not another full TMS; it’s a narrow, operational tool that can integrate with existing systems. Monetization is per facility per month, with optional fees for high-volume locations and API access.
