DockSlot

DockSlot is a web app (with a lightweight mobile driver portal) for warehouses and 3PLs to schedule inbound/outbound dock appointments and enforce them with real-world constraints. It replaces spreadsheets, email chains, and “show up and wait” with capacity-aware booking: door type, equipment needs, labor availability, yard space, and carrier SLAs. Carriers self-book from a controlled menu of slots; the warehouse can auto-approve low-risk requests and flag exceptions. The system tracks arrivals via geofenced check-in or QR code at the gate, then measures dwell time, detention risk, and no-show rates by carrier. It integrates with common WMS/TMS via simple APIs and produces detention documentation automatically. This is a combination traditional + AI app: traditional scheduling and rules, plus AI to predict overruns and recommend slot buffers based on historical cycle times.
