DockText is a lightweight click-and-collect coordination tool that works over SMS and a simple web dashboard. Customers receive a pickup link after ordering; when they arrive, they text a short code (or tap the link) to announce arrival, share car color/spot, and confirm ID. Staff get a prioritized queue with SLA timers, order notes, substitutions, and one-tap status updates (picked, staged, handed off). It’s designed for smaller retailers and regional chains that can’t justify expensive curbside platforms or complex POS integrations. The MVP can run with CSV imports or Shopify/WooCommerce connectors, and it logs every timestamp for dispute resolution and staffing analysis. It also includes basic “no-show” handling and automated reminders, but stays intentionally simple: reduce chaos at the curb, not rebuild your commerce stack.
