DocReady

DocReady is a mobile + web app that prevents wasted trips to government offices by turning confusing service requirements into a simple, personalized checklist. Users pick a service (ID renewal, address change, benefits application, permits), answer a few questions, and get an exact list of documents, fees, eligibility rules, and steps—plus office-specific variations when available. It also supports “preflight” uploads: users snap photos of documents and the app flags common issues (expired ID, missing signatures, unreadable scans) before they leave home. For agencies, a lightweight admin portal lets staff publish and update requirements without a full website overhaul, and see which requirements cause the most failures. This isn’t glamorous, but it targets a real, measurable pain: incomplete applications that clog counters, frustrate citizens, and increase repeat visits.
