DocuBuddy

DocuBuddy is a mobile + web app that helps older adults and their families organize the paperwork that actually matters in aging: insurance cards, advance directives, medication lists, home service contracts, account contacts, and “what to do if I’m hospitalized” instructions. It works like a structured vault with plain-language templates and a guided setup flow that can be done in 30 minutes with a caregiver on a call. The AI layer reads uploaded photos/PDFs, extracts key fields (policy numbers, doctor names, renewal dates), and builds a searchable index and emergency packet. Sharing is permission-based (e.g., adult child can view, neighbor can only see emergency contacts). The app also sends renewal and “review every 6 months” nudges. It’s not a medical device and doesn’t pretend to replace care—its job is reducing chaos when something goes wrong.
