DocuChain is a web app (with a lightweight mobile companion) for exporters, importers, freight forwarders, and banks to manage trade-finance document packs end-to-end. It provides a single workspace per shipment/LC where parties upload, version, and approve documents (invoice, packing list, BL/AWB, certificate of origin, insurance, inspection). The app auto-checks for common discrepancy triggers (dates, quantities, Incoterms, consignee/notify party mismatches, missing signatures/stamps) and generates a discrepancy report before documents reach the bank. It also creates a clear audit trail of who changed what and when, reducing email threads and “final_final_v7.pdf” disasters. This is not a magic replacement for banks’ core systems; it’s a practical collaboration layer that reduces rework, delays, and costly discrepancy fees.
