DocuChain is a web app (with a lightweight mobile companion) that helps small and mid-sized exporters/importers assemble, validate, and track the exact document set needed for each shipment: commercial invoice, packing list, certificate of origin, MSDS, inspection certificates, and carrier-specific forms. It uses AI to read purchase orders, HS codes, Incoterms, destination country, and product attributes to generate a document checklist, prefill templates, and flag common compliance mistakes before the freight forwarder or customs broker rejects the file. The app keeps a single “shipment dossier” with version history, approvals, and a clear audit trail, then shares a secure link with brokers, forwarders, and buyers. This is not a customs filing system; it’s the practical layer that prevents costly back-and-forth, demurrage, and missed ETAs caused by sloppy paperwork.
