DocuTrail

DocuTrail is a mobile + web app for documentary fans who want more than a watchlist. It helps you log what you watched, capture key claims and takeaways, and follow “impact threads” over time (topics, people, places, and outcomes). After watching, you can add quick notes, links to sources, and a personal “belief update” slider (did it change your mind?). The app then builds a clean timeline of your documentary journey and recommends the next best doc based on themes you actually engage with—not just genre. It also supports small private groups (classrooms, film clubs) with discussion prompts and shared reading lists. This is not a streaming service; it sits on top of whatever platforms you already use and focuses on retention, context, and reflection.
