DonorLoop

DonorLoop is a web app (with a lightweight mobile companion) that helps small-to-mid nonprofits and community programs prove where restricted donations actually went—without hiring a grants accountant. It connects to QuickBooks Online to pull transactions, lets staff tag expenses to specific funds/projects, and generates donor-ready “use of funds” reports with receipts, photos, and short narrative updates. An AI assistant suggests likely tags for new expenses, flags missing documentation, and drafts plain-language impact summaries based on approved data (not made-up claims). The product is intentionally narrow: restricted-fund compliance and reporting, not full fundraising, not a CRM. Nonprofits get fewer donor disputes, faster reporting cycles, and less time wasted chasing receipts across email threads. Donors and foundations get consistent, comparable reporting that reduces trust gaps and follow-up questions.
