DoorPulse

DoorPulse is a mobile + web app that shows real-time line length and entry speed for nightlife venues, so people stop wasting prime hours standing outside the wrong place. Users can view nearby venues on a map with estimated wait time, cover charge range, and “vibe” tags (music, crowd age, dress code). Wait times come from a mix of anonymous user check-ins, lightweight venue-side updates, and passive signals (geo-fenced crowd density) with confidence scores so it’s not pure guesswork. Venues can claim profiles to post accurate door status, specials, and capacity alerts, and in return get analytics on peak times and lost foot traffic. The app is brutally practical: it doesn’t try to be a social network; it’s a utility that helps groups decide where to go next in minutes, not debates.
