DoseLedger is a mobile app (with a lightweight web portal) for people who need reliable proof and tracking of prescription adherence. It combines traditional tracking with optional AI: users scan pill bottle labels, set schedules, and log doses with one tap. The differentiator is “verification mode” for high-stakes meds: photo check-ins, timestamped logs, and shareable adherence reports for caregivers or clinicians. Refill planning is practical, not fancy—remaining pills are tracked by simple count rules, and the app flags when you’ll run out based on real usage (missed doses included). It supports multiple pharmacies by storing Rx numbers and pickup dates, but it does not pretend to replace pharmacy systems. Reminders are configurable to avoid alarm fatigue, and privacy controls are explicit (HIPAA-style expectations without claiming to be a provider).
