DoseLedger is a web + mobile app for radiology departments to automatically collect, normalize, and monitor patient radiation dose from CT (and later fluoroscopy) across scanners and sites. It ingests DICOM RDSR and dose-related metadata, maps protocols to a clean internal taxonomy, and flags outliers against site baselines and configurable thresholds. The product focuses on the unglamorous but real work: compliance reporting, protocol optimization meetings, and responding to patient/physician dose questions with defensible data. An AI layer helps by auto-suggesting protocol mappings, detecting likely mis-labeled studies, and generating plain-language dose summaries for patient letters—while keeping final review in human hands. It’s not a diagnostic tool, so regulatory burden is lower, but it still needs strong security, audit trails, and integrations to be taken seriously.
