DoseRescue

DoseRescue is a mobile app (with optional web portal) that helps patients respond correctly when they miss a medication dose. Users select their medication, strength, schedule, and the time the dose was due; the app then provides conservative, citation-backed guidance based on FDA label instructions and reputable drug references, plus clear “when to call your pharmacist/doctor” escalation rules. It also generates a one-tap message users can send to their pharmacy or clinic with the key details (drug, timing, symptoms, other meds). The app is not a replacement for medical advice; it’s designed to reduce common, risky guesswork like double-dosing or stopping abruptly. Realistically, the hardest part is keeping guidance accurate and legally safe, so the MVP focuses on a limited set of high-volume chronic meds and transparent sourcing rather than trying to cover everything.
