DraftGuard is a mobile + web AI app that helps cyclists survive group rides and races by predicting where the “danger zones” will form and what to do about them. It combines weather (wind direction/gusts), route geometry, and your planned speed to flag segments likely to split the group, create echelons, or trigger repeated surges. Before the ride, it generates a simple “stay safe” plan: where to move up, when to eat, and where to expect attacks. During the ride, it provides minimal, glanceable alerts (audio/haptic) like “crosswind in 800m—move left third” or “pinch point—expect braking.” It’s not a magic performance booster; it’s a risk-reduction tool that helps riders make fewer dumb positioning mistakes. The app works best with a handlebar-mounted phone and optional integration with Garmin/Strava for route import and post-ride review.
