DraftLedger is a web + desktop app for writers who lose track of versions, feedback, and submission history. It automatically snapshots your manuscript as you write (from Google Docs, Word, Scrivener exports, or plain text), then builds a clean timeline of changes, notes, beta-reader comments, and “why I changed this” annotations. It also manages submissions: which story went where, when, what the response was, and what to revise before resubmitting—without the chaos of spreadsheets and email threads. This is a traditional app with light AI: optional AI summaries of revision diffs and feedback themes, but the core value is reliable versioning, provenance, and workflow visibility. Writers can export a “revision packet” for editors/agents and generate a private audit trail that helps defend against disputes, co-author confusion, and accidental plagiarism claims.
