DraftRelay
DraftRelay is a web app (with a lightweight mobile companion) that helps fiction and nonfiction writers get reliable, structured feedback without begging friends or shouting into social media. You upload a chapter or essay, set the type of feedback you want (clarity, pacing, argument strength, character believability), and invite your own readers or match with vetted beta readers. The core is a “feedback contract”: deadlines, word-count limits, and a simple rubric so comments are actionable instead of vague. Readers can annotate inline, answer guided questions, and record quick voice notes. Writers see a dashboard that aggregates recurring issues, highlights consensus vs. outliers, and tracks revision progress. This is a combination app: traditional workflow plus AI-assisted summarization of feedback themes (not AI writing). It’s realistic because it sells accountability and structure, not magic creativity.
