DrapeProof is a mobile + web AI app that helps luxury ready-to-wear shoppers avoid expensive fit mistakes. Instead of generic size charts, it builds a private “fit fingerprint” from a short guided measurement flow, past purchases, and optional phone-based body scan. It then predicts how a specific garment will fit (tight/relaxed at key points), how it will drape based on fabric composition and cut, and which size is most likely to work. Brands can upload tech packs or measurement specs; consumers can also scan product pages and receipts to auto-ingest garment data. The app outputs a clear confidence score, recommended size(s), and a “why” explanation (e.g., shoulder width runs narrow, waist has low ease). It also tracks alterations and learns over time. This is not a virtual try-on gimmick; it’s a fit-risk reduction tool aimed at high-AOV purchases.
