DriftGuard
DriftGuard monitors schema, index, parameter, and permission drift across managed cloud databases (Postgres/MySQL) and flags changes that can cause outages or performance regressions. It connects read-only to your instances, snapshots metadata on a schedule, and compares it against a declared “golden” baseline per environment. When drift is detected, it generates a human-readable diff, a risk score (e.g., missing index on hot table, altered collation, widened privileges), and a rollback-ready migration script. It also correlates drift with recent deploys by ingesting CI/CD events, so teams can quickly identify the owner and timeframe of the change. This is not a full observability suite; it focuses narrowly on preventing silent configuration/schema drift that slips past code review and IaC. Delivered as a web app with optional CLI for baseline export/import.
