DriftGuard

DriftGuard is a web app that detects and explains Kubernetes configuration drift across clusters, namespaces, and environments. It continuously compares the live cluster state against your declared sources of truth (Git, Helm values, Kustomize overlays, and Terraform outputs) and flags what changed, who/what changed it, and the likely blast radius. It’s not another full GitOps platform; it’s a focused “drift detective” that teams can bolt onto existing setups (Argo CD, Flux, or even manual kubectl). The product prioritizes actionable output: a ranked drift feed, one-click rollback guidance, and policy checks for risky changes (privileged pods, hostPath mounts, public services, missing resource limits). Expect some setup friction (RBAC, audit logs), but once installed it reduces firefighting and postmortems by making silent changes visible and attributable.
