DriftProbe

DriftProbe is a web app (with optional desktop agent) for diagnostic analytics that pinpoints why a KPI changed by separating true business shifts from data pipeline issues. It continuously profiles key metrics and their upstream dependencies (tables, ETL jobs, feature pipelines, app releases, pricing changes, campaign launches). When a metric moves, it generates a ranked set of likely causes with evidence: which upstream fields changed distribution, which joins started dropping rows, which segments diverged, and which deploys or config changes correlate in time. It also produces a reproducible “investigation notebook” that captures queries, charts, and decisions so teams stop re-litigating incidents. This is a combination traditional + AI app: traditional for lineage, tests, and statistical diagnostics; AI for summarizing evidence, proposing next checks, and turning messy context into a clear incident narrative. It’s realistic: it won’t magically know the cause, but it will cut investigation time dramatically.
