DriftRun
DriftRun is a web app (with optional Slack/Teams integration) that keeps operational runbooks from going stale by detecting “drift” between documented steps and the live environment. It connects read-only to your monitoring, incident, and config sources (e.g., alerts, deployments, infra changes) and flags runbook steps that no longer match current services, endpoints, dashboards, or ownership. During incidents, responders get a guided checklist that adapts based on the alert context (service, region, recent deploy, known bad versions) and records what was actually done. After resolution, DriftRun generates a concise “runbook patch” suggestion and routes it for approval, so documentation improves continuously instead of during quarterly cleanups. It’s not a magic autopilot: it focuses on high-signal drift detection, approvals, and audit trails so teams can trust it in regulated or high-availability environments.
