DriftSentry

DriftSentry is a web app (with optional lightweight agents) that detects and explains technology failure risk caused by configuration drift across servers, Kubernetes, cloud resources, and critical SaaS settings. Instead of just flagging “something changed,” it builds a baseline of known-good configurations, monitors for deviations, and scores the operational risk based on blast radius, service criticality, and historical incident patterns. It then generates a clear, actionable change report: what changed, who/what likely changed it (CI job, human, IaC pipeline), and the fastest safe rollback path. It integrates with Git/IaC tools to compare desired vs actual state and can open a PR or ticket with the proposed fix. This is not a full observability suite; it’s a focused “drift-to-failure” early warning system aimed at preventing outages caused by silent changes and undocumented tweaks.
