DriveBrief
DriveBrief is a mobile app (iOS/Android) that turns your phone into a safer, less annoying infotainment layer for any car. It auto-detects driving, locks distracting apps, and provides a single voice-first interface for the only things most drivers actually need: calls, navigation prompts, and urgent messages. Instead of reading every notification, it summarizes incoming texts and chat threads into one spoken sentence, then offers two or three quick voice replies you can approve. It also supports “passenger mode” to avoid false locks, and a simple car Bluetooth setup that works in older vehicles without Android Auto/CarPlay. This is an AI + traditional app: AI is used for summarization, intent detection, and reply drafting, while the safety rules and UI are deterministic. It’s realistic, but you’ll fight OS restrictions and user trust issues.
