DriverRecall
DriverRecall is a desktop app (Windows-first) that detects risky device-driver changes and makes rollback painless. It continuously snapshots driver versions, INF packages, and key registry/device settings, then correlates them with Windows Update events and vendor installers. When a blue screen, boot loop, missing Wi‑Fi/Bluetooth, or GPU crash happens, it offers a guided recovery flow: offline rollback, safe-mode driver restore, and “known-good” profile reapply. It also flags shady or mismatched drivers (wrong OEM, unsigned, outdated) and suggests safer alternatives based on hardware IDs. This isn’t a generic “health monitor”; it’s a practical recovery tool for the most common real-world hardware/software failure: driver updates that break machines. Monetization is straightforward: freemium for home users, paid seats for IT with policy controls and remote exportable recovery bundles.
