DriverVault

DriverVault is a desktop app for Windows that automatically inventories your PC’s hardware, finds the correct drivers/firmware, and keeps a clean, rollback-safe local archive. It targets the real pain: after a reinstall, a motherboard swap, or a botched update, finding the right driver is a time sink and a malware risk. The app fingerprints devices via hardware IDs, matches them to trusted sources, downloads verified packages, and stores them with version metadata, hashes, and restore points. It also flags risky updates (beta, mismatched OEM variants) and can export an “offline driver kit” to USB for field repairs. This is not a generic “PC optimizer”; it’s a narrow utility focused on accuracy, provenance, and recovery. Monetization: freemium (scan + basic backups free), paid for auto-updates, offline kits, and business fleet features.
