DropCast

DropCast is a web app (with optional mobile companion) for small-to-mid media teams that need to distribute video/audio packages to many partners fast—without building custom workflows for each outlet. You upload a master file once, attach required metadata (embargo, territories, captions, thumbnails), and DropCast delivers it to a configurable list of destinations: S3 buckets, FTP/SFTP servers, Box/Drive folders, and partner-specific endpoints. It generates a delivery “proof pack” per destination: checksum, timestamps, retry logs, and a shareable receipt link for editors and legal. It also handles common media headaches: automatic proxy generation for review, caption sidecar validation, and loudness/format preflight checks before shipping. This is not a magic “growth” tool; it’s operational plumbing that reduces missed air dates, broken transfers, and endless email threads.
