DropInDeck is a lightweight web + desktop companion for “instant, disposable” video rooms that teams can spin up in seconds for quick alignment, pair work, or support triage. Instead of scheduling yet another meeting, users create a short-lived room link with a clear purpose label (e.g., “Bug triage 20m”) and optional timebox. It includes a simple lobby, one-click screen share, and a shared scratchpad for links and decisions. Rooms auto-expire, recordings are off by default, and the app generates a compact meeting recap template users can fill in manually (not magical AI minutes). The goal is to reduce friction for real-time communication without turning every interaction into a formal meeting. It’s built for speed, reliability, and low admin overhead, not feature bloat.
