DropPoint
DropPoint helps people and small teams create “delivery-grade” location pins when a street address is missing, unreliable, or confusing (rural areas, new developments, campuses, festivals, construction sites). Users generate a shareable link that includes a precise pin, approach instructions, photos of landmarks, preferred entrance, gate codes, and a quick “call on arrival” button. Recipients open it in any maps app, but also see a simple, standardized arrival checklist that reduces back-and-forth texts. The app verifies the pin quality by checking GPS accuracy, road proximity, and whether the pin sits inside a building polygon or accessible area. It’s not magic: it won’t fix bad roads or missing map data, but it will reduce failed drop-offs and wasted time by making location intent explicit and repeatable. Works as a mobile app with a lightweight web link for recipients.
