For higher-stakes purchases, users can pay for a fast human review from vetted authenticators, with clear SLAs and refund rules. DropProof also tracks price history and flags listings that are unusually cheap for the size/color, a common scam signal. It’s not magic: it won’t “guarantee authenticity” from one blurry photo, but it will dramatically reduce obvious mistakes and help buyers ask the right questions before sending money.
