DropSlot is a mobile + web app for last-mile carriers and local couriers to reduce “not-at-home” failures by letting recipients choose (or auto-confirm) narrow delivery windows and secure drop preferences in seconds. Customers get an SMS link (no login) to pick a 30–60 minute slot, add gate/entry instructions, choose safe-drop photos, or redirect to a nearby pickup partner. Dispatchers see real-time slot density by neighborhood and can rebalance routes before drivers waste miles. Drivers get a simplified stop list that prioritizes time-critical slots and captures compliant proof-of-delivery (photo + geo + timestamp) without extra taps. This is not a full TMS; it’s a lightweight layer that plugs into existing routing tools via API/CSV and focuses on one measurable KPI: first-attempt success rate. Expect pushback from incumbents, but the value is clear if it saves even 1–2 redeliveries per route per day.
