DroughtDesk

DroughtDesk is a mobile + web app that turns messy drought and water-supply signals into a simple, location-specific “what to do now” dashboard for small water utilities, irrigation districts, and large property managers. It pulls public data (USGS streamflow/groundwater, NOAA forecasts, drought monitor layers, reservoir levels where available) and lets users add their own readings (well depth, pump runtime, meter totals). The app then generates weekly risk levels, threshold alerts, and a short recommended action list (e.g., adjust watering schedules, trigger voluntary restrictions, prioritize leak surveys, schedule well maintenance). It’s not a magic prediction engine; it’s a practical decision-support tool that reduces time spent hunting for data and helps teams document why they took actions. Reports export to PDF/CSV for boards, regulators, or customers.
