DubLedger
DubLedger is a web app (with a lightweight desktop uploader) for teams that publish lots of technical or brand-sensitive video and keep getting captions wrong. It transcribes and captions audio, but the core is a “term ledger”: approved spellings, product names, acronyms, people names, and forbidden variants. Upload a video, pick a ledger, and the system generates captions that automatically conform to your terminology, then flags uncertain segments for fast review. It exports SRT/VTT, burned-in captions, and a change log showing what was corrected and why (useful for compliance and brand QA). It also supports speaker labels and per-project style rules (numbers, punctuation, casing). This is an AI app plus traditional workflow tooling; the AI does the speech-to-text and smart corrections, while the app focuses on repeatable, auditable caption quality for organizations that can’t afford sloppy output.
