DubProof

DubProof is a web app (with optional desktop player) for translation QA specifically for subtitles and dubbing scripts. It ingests SRT/VTT, dialogue lists, and timecoded scripts, then flags issues that routinely slip into production: reading speed too high, line breaks that ruin meaning, inconsistent terminology, missing speaker cues, profanity policy violations, and timing mismatches with shot changes. It also compares the translation against a reference glossary and style guide, and generates a clear, exportable QC report for vendors and internal reviewers. AI helps suggest fixes, but the product is built around deterministic checks and reviewer workflows so teams can trust it. The goal is not to “translate better,” but to reduce expensive rework, late-stage fixes, and embarrassing on-screen errors that damage brand quality.
