DuetDoodle

DuetDoodle is a mobile + web app that teaches kids (7–12) core music and visual-art concepts through short, paired “create-alongs.” Each lesson links a simple music idea (beat, melody shape, dynamics) with an art idea (line, color, pattern, contrast). Kids tap to build a 4–8 bar loop using kid-safe instruments, then “paint” to the loop with brushes that react to musical features (louder = thicker, higher pitch = brighter, etc.). The app gives instant, friendly feedback and a clear next step, not open-ended prompts that overwhelm beginners. Teachers/parents get printable mini-rubrics and progress snapshots (e.g., steady beat accuracy, motif repetition, color harmony attempts). It’s intentionally limited: no social feed, no chat, and sharing is export-only to keep moderation and safety realistic. Monetization is a low-cost subscription for families and a classroom license for schools.
