DustBudget helps homeowners plan and contain renovation mess with realistic, room-by-room protection checklists and material quantities. Pick a project (sanding floors, drywall patching, cabinet painting), enter room size and HVAC details, and the app generates a “containment plan”: how much plastic sheeting, painter’s tape, zipper doors, floor paper, and vent covers you’ll actually need, plus a step order to avoid rework. It includes a timed cleanup schedule (daily, weekly, end-of-job) and reminders to change HVAC filters and protect smoke detectors. It’s not glamorous, but it prevents the most common DIY regret: dust everywhere, ruined furniture, and angry housemates. The app also tracks what you used so the next project is faster and cheaper. This is a mobile app + web app, traditional with light AI (optional suggestions and quantity adjustments).
