DutyLens is a web + mobile AI app that calculates the real “landed cost” of cross-border purchases before checkout: item price, shipping, duties, VAT/GST, brokerage fees, and realistic delivery time. Shoppers paste a product link (or upload a cart screenshot), select destination country, and get an all-in total plus a confidence score and fee breakdown. It also flags common gotchas: restricted items, undervaluation risks, return friction, and warranty limitations. For merchants, DutyLens offers a lightweight widget/API that shows transparent landed cost and reduces cart abandonment from surprise fees. This is not a marketplace; it’s a decision layer that works across marketplaces and DTC sites. The MVP focuses on a handful of high-volume corridors (US→CA/UK/EU, CN→US/EU) and expands as data quality improves.
